Aula Medica is an extraordinary building. To create an interior concept to match that was a challenge. Wingårdhs were assigned by Karolinska Institutet to do Karolinska Institutet's beautiful centre, Aula Medica, boasts an auditorium with 1,000 seats, offices for about 100 people, 50 conference places, two restaurants and a café. Nobel lectures are arranged here, as well as scientific symposia, academic ceremonies and conferences. Aula Medica was built through a donation from the Erling-Persson Family Foundation in connection with Karolinska Institutet's 200th anniversary.
